Download Installer #
Sign into the TAD Client Portal and go to the Transfer All Data section to download the installer. You will also need the Serial Number.

Additional Cloud Items #
Both items below are required in order to complete the TAD Installation.
- TLS Database Endpoint or IPSEC VPN
- You must have one of the options above in place so that you can communicate with your Cloud server.
- If you do not have either, submit a support ticket to Trimble with a subject of “We need a TLS Database Endpoint setup to connect to our Cloud server”. Support will work with your IT to get that in place.
- Once the Endpoint is established you will receive the server which will be needed for the installation
- Ideal format: AAAA-sql.viewpointdata.cloud, ####
- If your value looks like AAAA-sql.viewpointdata.cloud port- #### then you will replace the port- with a comma.
- View the Vista Cloud FAQ for Transfer All Data
- SQL Account
- You need one main SQL Account with permissions to install TAD on your SQL Database.
- All other users just need the SQL Account.
- Follow the Create SQL Account instructions to add a SQL Account in Vista.
- Once that account is created, submit a support ticket to Trimble with a subject of “Please grant db_owner permisisons to SQL Account <your_new_account> on the Viewpoint and VPAttachment databases. Also, remove the VCSUsers permission on the Viewpoint database.”
Cascade AVD Account #
If you are unable to establish the TLS Database Endpoint or IPSEC VPN then another option is using a Cascade AVD Account. This account uses the Remote Desktop program below which gives you access to Excel.
This instance of Excel requires a Microsoft Office E3 or E5 license.
